About Cathy Yago

Cathy was born and raised in the West End of Richmond. After graduating high school, she attended J. Sergeant Reynolds, then went to Virginia Tech, receiving a bachelor's degree in Family and Child Development. She has been a licensed teacher in Virginia for over 25 years and has taught in public and private schools.

 

Her foundation as a teacher has equipped her with invaluable skills that seamlessly translate into the world of real estate. Patience, empathy, effective communication, and the ability to listen carefully are skills she has mastered that are essential to both professions. The shift from education to real estate was motivated to continue making a positive impact on the lives of others. For Cathy, real estate is not just about properties; it's about finding the perfect place for her clients to create fond memories and call their home. 

 

Cathy resides in Western Hanover with her husband of 25 years, four children, numerous chickens, and a German Shepherd named Red. She looks forward to serving you and your real estate needs.
